國際GPS大廠Garmin公司(Garmin International)於2010年2月8日在美國堪薩斯州聯邦地院，向日本車用電子大廠先鋒(Pioneer)提請專利不侵權之確認之訴(Declaratory Judgment of Non-Infringement)及專利無效訴訟，有關於車載導航設備裝置，涉及3項專利(US5,365,448、US5,424,951、US6,122,592) 。
