2011年3月14日，來自美國德州的專利控股公司Ogma以1項專利侵權為由，控告蘋果(Apple)、宏達電(HTC)、樂金(LG)、摩托羅拉(Motorola)、索尼愛立信(Sony Ericsson)以及德國電信公司T-Mobile，共計6家國際知名企業牽涉本次訴訟，而這也是今年(2011)以來Ogma所發起的第三次訴訟，全案將由德州東部聯邦地院負責審理調查。
本案系爭專利編號為US5,825,427，專利發明人為Kenneth J. MacLeod，該專利連同專利6,150,947於今年1月25日移轉予Ogma，由於目前主流的螢幕寬比有美國國家電視標準委員會(National Television System Committee, NTSC)所制定的4:3傳統螢幕，以及適用於高畫質電視(High Definition TV, HDTV)的16:9寬螢幕，因此專利427主要涉及這兩種螢幕寬比的影像調節系統技術，讓使用者於不同裝置或不同螢幕寬比上播放影像時不會出現誤差。
今年以來，新興專利控股公司Ogma的動作頻頻，先是在2月3日以動態感應裝置相關的專利947控告任天堂(Nintendo)、暴雪動視公司(Activision Blizzard)等多家遊戲娛樂公司，3月11日又再次以同樣的專利向蘋果、戴爾(Dell)等14家公司提出告訴，同時還有多家被告企業與今次訴訟重複。(456字；表1)

2011年9月15日ITC法官同意原告Ogma與被告Intec聯合提出動議，達成和解而終止調查訴案[337-TA-773]。
2011年9月01日ITC法官發出命令，同意Ogma與Bensussen Deutsch & Associates共同提出和解與撤告。
2011年6月13日Ogma再於美國ITC指控台灣奧圖碼(Optoma)公司及美國子公司Optoma Technology Inc.所銷售之投影機產品侵害原告所有US5,825,427美國專利。此外，本案並有其他14家各國公司因其所生產之產品分別侵害兩件美國專利。
