新聞：（2006年08月09日聯合晚報 - 菱光與液體鏡頭專業廠Varioptic簽約，架設生產線）彩色CIS感測元件廠商菱光 (8249)今正式發布昨(8)日與法國液體鏡頭 (liquid lens)專業廠Varioptic簽訂合約，雙方同意於菱光無錫廠合作設立全球第一條液體鏡頭商業量產線，預計2006年底開始量產，初期月產能鏡頭十萬組為目標。

菱光科技股份有限公司成立於1998年6月，為一家專業彩色影像感測器製造商，目前與日本東芝(TOSHIBA)半導體技術合作，引進東芝光電關鍵元件在台量產，台灣機電第一大廠東元公司轉投資，主要股東包括東元電機、怡和創投等，為台灣第一家投入研發生產CCD元件的彩色影像感測器(Contact Image Sensor)廠商，世界第一大接觸式彩色影像感測器製造廠。本公司目前資本額 12.3億，已於2005年5月17日於台灣證券交易所掛牌上市。
